I am fundraising for high school band and jr./sr. prom. i know of this fundraiser…?

I have heard of fundraisers where students will earn money and for every $2 they earn a business will give $5. this would be a good fundraiser for my class because it is so small but it would also give us a lot of money.
what kind of business do i ask to help us do this?
also any other fundraising ideas would be appreciated 
we need to profit at least $500 off of every fundraiser.
I'm not sure exactly… but I think that some places will match what you earn. For example if you have a car wash in a store parking lot they will double the money you make. Call big local stores such as grocery stores and walmart type stores and ask.
