My high school band is in desperate need of fundraising ideas for our end of the year trip to Florida, we have about 2 and a half months to do so.HELP!
Have a Car Wash.
Krispi Cream has programs where you sale their donuts and they give you a percentage of the profits.
Get a store to donate a bike or something and then have an auction to the highest bidder, or have a raffle for them to win it.
Any kind of raffle.
Put boxes in stores or gas stations around your community that say to please donate for ur band trip
Also when I was in school, our baseball team raised money by having a car wash, but we had a womanless beauty pagent, and people payed like 5 dollars to see it. We had it in the gym for parents, alumni and students. Pretty funny

Lol, our high school band just went to Florida last year for the All-American band thingy. We had a bandstand during basketball games, carwashes, selling pie, getting buisness to buy ads and stuff like that. We aren't going this year cuz it takes a while to earn money. Next year we are going back to Florida or we might be going to China so good luck with your fundrasing!

In the St. Louis area lots of organizations do Trivia Nights as a fund raiser. You sell tables of 8 seats for $160. There are 10 rounds of 10 questions each. You get local businesses to donate prizes. People will decorate their tables, bring all kinds of food and drink, etc. We have done them for 4 years for our church Youth Group for trips. Last year we sold 48 tables, and cleared over $10,000 for the night.

Well you can do yard work or help people that are in need of help you can cook or clean their house or baby sit or get a part time job and put your moneys together. My high school band did all this and we were able to go on our feild trip. good luck!

Ask a stripper at a nightclub to give you some money for the school trip they make thousands per night I'm sure they would lend you some.Or just take your class for a trip to a strip club so the students can learn the human anatomy.It's very educational.

Try playing for payment, its a sure shot at cash.
Then, try doing chores for your neighbors. Wash cars, clean living rooms, mow lawn, etc. Be creative dudette, we had such a problem too. But, if you really need the cash, you'll go for it.

Sponsor a bake sale, offering home baked goods by the slice or cup cake at set price, walk dogs in the neighborhood for a fee, sponsor a car wash or have an auction offering the services of a band member for the highest bidder as an errand person for a few hours or day. Make flyer's offering to serenade or play background tune for a romantic evening for a couple or just for a surprise occasion for an anniversary or other special occasion. Another idea, put on a concert or talent show, involving the band and possibly other students and sell tickets. There could be an entree fee for all performers and a small prize. Street performances with a instrument case for donations or a hat is another idea.

Here are some ideas we did to raise money ( raised about $200K in about 3 months)
1. We had companies donate products and then we partnered with a local morning radio show and we auctioned off the products on the morning radio show….people donated gift certificates at restaurants, lawncare services, electronics, etc
2. We set up a stand at lunch and after school where we sold snacks and soda
3. We had car washes at 3 places in town on 3 weekends and we asked for donations in addition to the car wash money
4. We sold roses at Valentine's Day for students to give to other students….The local florist donated about 100 roses for only $10 per $100 and we sold them for $5 per rose…a quick way to make a couple of hundred dollars
5. Call local businesses ask them to help sponsor your band's trip by making a donation to the band's trip fund and let them know that you will provide them will a support plaque to hang in their business
6. Call the local chamber of commerce and ask them if they know of any businesses that are opening soon or are having events soon that the band could perform for a fee
7. Have a band concert and charge tickets to the concert (you know your parents and friends will always pay for tickets)
8. Hold a talent show at school and charge for admission — The student body will come to see what thier friends are doing at the talent show
9. This is the biggest one — Have a local business donate something really good like 2 tickets to a sporting event or a dinner for 2 at an amazing restaurant or, if you can get it, $1000 and then sell raffle tickets for $3 a piece

some restaurants have fund-raising programs where people go out to eat on a set date and the restaurant gives your program a percentage of the total evenings profits. also, Pampered Chef, Avon, etc all have fund-raising programs too. these are good because you can donate by just purchasing something for yourself.
