Does anyone have some good ideas to get parents and teachers involved in our parent teacher organization. We are an elementary school with about 500 kids half hispanic. Our PTO consists of 5 moms who do it all. Movie nights, pancake breakfasts, fundraisers. We raised over $7000.00 dollars for our school this year but we are tired and want to get more people involved to help lighten the load. Not one teacher is a member. How can we get them involved. We could do so much more for the school if we just had some extra hands. If there are any teachers out there, your input would be appreciated!
My children’s school started alternating meeting times. One meeting a month is during the day and another is in the evening. It worked.
