admin under candy fundraising
i would really like to do candy bars but i just dont have the money to purchase the candy it is very expensive i also have been looking for donations from stores and stuff but i have not had any luck so far please if you have ideas or can help me that would be so great!!!
A bake sale is a good idea, have the students each make something to sell. Not only will you make money off of it but it will also get the kids involved. Maybe have a pizza sale. Talk to some of your local pizza places and see if they will donate some of the things for you. Then have the student put together the pizzas themselves. You then can have baking instructions printed out to go along with each pizza.

you can have a car wash a donations box in the class rooms and who ever brings in the most money out of all the classes get a treat

You could do a christmas cookie bake sale in December where people pick out the ones they want and you charge them by the dozen.

Try a bake sale. My library group does it once a year, and we get loads of donated baked good to sell. It can earn a lot of money!

bake sale- have parents donate the baked goods (let them know what the proceeds will be used for specifically)
have students make crafts/art/drawings/paintings/etc and sell them (local coffee shops, artsy places might let you display them there for free to access more potential buyers)
car wash, if your students are old enough
have you looked into selling magazines, cookies/cookie dough, and other types of sales where you order the products from a catalog?

You could have a carwash… might not be that appropreate for a schoo… But BAKE SALE seems like a fun idea.

Have you tried advertising on craigslist.org? Also, many musicians like to do fundraisers. They can sell their music, and even donate some of the sales of their cds. If you can do an “event”, you might be able to get some people to make dishes and donate them, and charge at the door. You can still gear the event towards kids. Also, just heard about meetup.com. I don’t know for sure if they would be able to help, but they might have a group that would be appropriate for you to join, and perhaps you could find people that can help you. My group was a young mom’s group, they do fundraisers & events like breast cancer, etc. Good luck, hope I’ve been of some help. I’m not advertising/not an advertisement, just listing avenues I might follow.

Silent auctions work out well and require little to no money. Canvas for donations and offer that you will put together a booklet or something (doesn’t have to be fancy) with all of the donors business cards or something like that. Depending on your school, you might get some student musicians to play for a nice ambiance, and you could get someone to MC and make it a bit more exciting – chat up some of the auction lots, remind people how much longer they have to do bids… Sell refreshments (ask for bake sale donations too maybe?) and get some more money that way.
It’s a lot of work for one evening, but you can make it a really nice event with some local media coverage, and get the school involved.
Good luck!

What about a Coffee fundraiser?
Specialty coffee and beverages are an exploding market nationwide and it practically sells itself. Java Joe’s Roasting Company is an upstate New York based coffee roaster, who specializes in fundraising. Organizations will realize a profit of $2.50 or more per bag sold. The products will be customized to promote your organization (free of charge) and there are no set up fees or minimums. This fundraising program is equitable and offers your supporters a first class practical product that is perfect for every day use. Good luck! I hope I was able to help.
p.s. My son’s preschool made $2,496 during a 2 week campaign.
