Is your school willing to have a basketball game students against teachers or staff? If so, you could charge an admittance fee to those watching and a donation from those participating in the game (from the teachers and staff as well as the students). It could also be a softball game or baseball or whatever — so long as it gets people involved. It's also be a great way to bolster school spirit.

I remember for our soccer team in high school we used to hold a car wash when the weather was nice. Also, if you search around the internet, we got hooked up with a candy selling gig. They would give us each personally a box of 25 candy bars which were purchased for like 10$ and sell each bar for 1$ at lunch time or throughout the day. It's 15$ per box that way so if alot of people can do it, it's great!

    Penny Wars…

Great to get the grades going against each other…
Each grade gets a large jar (put anywhere…main office is usually good)
Pennies are worth one point and the grade with the most pennies wins!!!
However silver coins are negative points so you put silver coins in the other grades jars. They can each be worth -1 point or you can make them different like nickels -5 points dimes -10 and quarters -25.
You will be shocked at how much money you make :)

Custom silicone bracelets are still a very popular method of generating school or team spirit and to raise money for any group or organization. Price per bracelets lowers as quantity ordered increases, as low as $0.69 cents per bracelet. More info at:

Try Satin Hands! It’s a great spa item that everyone loves! You make 30% on everything you sell! You can branch out to other products if you want, but Satin Hands sells like crazy! Especially with Mother’s Day coming up and everyone wants to pamper their moms. meganheckadon@marykay.com
