What are some unique fund-raising ideas for a high school organization?
We need to raise a couple thousand dollars this year and I need some ideas on what we can do to fundriase? We cannot sell any type of food or candy. Ideas for outside of the school fundraising and inside the school fundraising are all good..thanks
There are a lot of ways to raise money.
1) Hold an auction using donated things or items that are handmade by the students
2) Try magazine fundraisers or candles
3) Wrap presents in front of Borders or some store you get permission from and have a tip jar out in the open
4) Hold a raffle and ask local business to help contribute things like gift certificates or a free service. Make sure to thank them.
5) There are sites that you can make money off of writting customer reviews
6) Have a student service auction, in which students auction off services such as mowing lawns
7) Offer to do concession stands at your school sports games

Offer garage cleaning at $10 per garage. A bunch of people can really do an amazing job. Charge more if you agree to haul away trash.
