School Fundraising Ideas

Helping you raise money to support your teachers and kids

This year my school is offering me an opportunity to go on a wonderful trip to Thailand as a service trip.
The trip is approximately $3,100.
As you can see the trip is on the expensive side. My family can pay for roughly half of it but I need to pay for the rest. And if I can't come up with the money soon I'm afraid I will be unable to go.

I really need help with coming up with fundraisers that will get me far in my fund raising.

Does anyone have any GOOD fundraisers that will allow me to achieve my money goal in the quickest time possible?

Well, I don't know how old you are but you could get a job.
You can also…
-Babysit
-Talk to your class presidents in your school and come up with a school dance (most kids at my school ALL go to those dances and you could charge about 5 dollars per person.)
-Walk dogs for other people
-Take out a loan/Ask your school for financial aid
-Bake sale
-Lemonade stand (you would be surprised how much money you can make doing that everday)
-Car wash
Hope this helps

  1. unidentified Said,

Try a Bake Sale, kids at my school love them. Good luck!

Put on a talent show and charge a small fee.

This is something my one daughter did to earn money in the summer, she went door to door and offered to house clean, yard clean and clean basements and attics for a small price. She raised a little over $500 in 3 mo.

If it is winter shovel for a small fee

You could also offer to watch over adults that can't be left alone (if you are old enough to handle it) That one takes a lot of responsibility. My youngest daughter was 13 and she did it for a neighbor a few times a week and earned $10 ea. time.

    Have a small yard sale.

    Baby sit for a fee.
    Deliver papers…Ideas are endless

  4. Megan Said,

Try Satin Hands! It’s a great spa item that everyone loves! You make 30% on everything you sell! You can branch out to other products if you want, but Satin Hands sells like crazy! Especially with Mother’s Day coming up and everyone wants to pamper their moms. meganheckadon@marykay.com
