School Fundraising Ideas

Helping you raise money to support your teachers and kids

Renowned Cyberlaw scholar Jonathan Zittrain talks about how LiveOps is resourcing low-level human computing across networks to facilitate a range of operations from fast food orders to fundraising from remote locations.

In this video interview, Zittrain shares his ideas on human computing with Ideas Project, a new website brought to you by Nokia. Ideas Project is an online space that provides a new way to interact with thought leaders and their big ideas about the future of connected communications. For more on this idea from Zittrain, visit http://www.ideasproject.com.

An internationally known cyberlaw scholar, Jonathan Zittrain’s work focuses on the ways in which technology deployment impacts businesses and society, and the role intermediaries like national governments can play. His recent book, ‘The Future of the Internet — And How to Stop It,’ posits that the explosive growth of the Internet may prove to be its biggest drawback. He co-founded the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School, whose mission is to explore and understand cyberspace from a legal perspective. Previously he was Professor of Internet Governance and Regulation at Oxford University. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Forum Fellow of the World Economic Forum, which has named him a Young Global Leader.

Ideas Project, a project of Nokia, brings together the most visionary and influential big thinkers to contemplate the big ideas that matter most to the future of communications. It is also a new kind of conversation platform aimed at uncovering the connections between these big thinkers and their disruptive ideas.

Explore the Ideas Project website at http://www.ideasproject.com, subscribe to its RSS feed, join its Twitter feed, and come back often to learn about great new big ideas as they break.
