I would want something that isn't as cliche as a car wash, but definitely nothing that we get online.
I absolutely don't want catalogues or selling candy.
perferably something that the whole group would enjoy doing, but make profit at the same time.
10 points for best answer !
THANKS [:
Well, I'm not sure you can use this for a club, but it worked pretty well for our school.
Our school was fundrasing for invisible children, so a penny war was held. There would be 4 jars (one for each class) in our quad during lunch and break. Pennies would count as +.01 and any other currency would be a negative amount. (ex. a nickel is -.05, a quarter is -.25, a dollar is -1). Students were then supposed to put pennies in their class jars while putting everything else in other classes' jars so they would lose point. Everyday the money would be counted and the "winners" would be reported over the intercom. After a week the contest was over and our school raised like $2,000.
It was pretty fun, people got really competive and were like putting $20 bills in other classes' jars. My friend even went to the bank to get $10 worth of pennies for our jar.

One group at my daughter's school had periodic bacon sales during lunch hours. They cooked up the bacon on a Foreman grill and sold it for 50 cents a strip. It required minimal time and effort, but yielded a healthy profit.
