Helping you raise money to support your teachers and kids

Any ideas for a profitable, fun, successful fundraiser that has worked well in the past? Our class needs a good fundraiser! please any ideas welcome! thanks! =]

* Sell chocolate
* Have a hot dog stall
* Cake stall – have cute cupcakes for 50cents each – have the students bake them then bring them in the next day! They sell really well!
* Have a huge sports day – charge a fee to enter a team and then give the winner gift vouchers – sometimes you can get them donated

Good luck!

Ask some one to donate a really dumpy beater car.

Pop out the windows so you can’t injure your self with the glass.

Then have a few available baseball bats and charge a few bucks per hit!

My school rugby did that a couple years back and it was a BLAST.

    What about a Coffee fundraiser?
Specialty coffee and beverages are an exploding market nationwide and it practically sells itself. Java Joe’s Roasting Company is an upstate New York based coffee roaster, who specializes in fundraising. Organizations will realize a profit of $2.50 or more per bag sold. The products will be customized to promote your organization (free of charge) and there are no set up fees or minimums. This fundraising program is equitable and offers your supporters a first class practical product that is perfect for every day use. There are no out-of-pocket expenses to your organization because you will be collecting payment for each order before you place it with the company, therefore, you are immediately in possession of your profit. You can even change the name of the product & have fun with it! Good luck! I hope I was able to help.

    p.s. My son’s preschool made $2,496 during a 2 week campaign.

    did you try http://www.dishcares.com?

A friend from my old school used this, so I tried it with my church with success. When someone gets Dish Network, your school gets $60, and if there are 50 or more activations in a month they throw in an extra $500, or 100 activations they throw in a bonus of $1,000 (that would be $7,000 for one month!) and your school gets credited when ANYONE IN THE U.S. activates through the site and click on your school name. NOT just people down the block! As far as the cost… N O T H I N G. They never collected ANY THING from our church. THEY DO NOT MAKE A DIME UNLESS YOU DO!! They will provide you with promotional material. Their flyers are pretty basic but will really get the point across that your school will benefit when they get Dish Network.

    Unlike other fundraisers:
No money to worry about handling, or breaking change, no inventory to keep, and no worrying if its going to rain the one day you decide to have the brat fry / car wash!

They helped donate over $1294 to my church recently, and the best thing is there is no time limit on when the fundraising is active… for example, if someone were to activate through dishcares.com and click on your link (they will give one to you if you decide to do this) let say in february or even next summer, that $60 will STILL go to your team or club. (money can always be used for your school next year too)

Its worth a try, like i said we didn’t have to send them ANY MONEY AT ANY TIME for our church. They simply gave us some flyers that we shared with other close family and supporters… so many are switching to satellite ANYWAY, why not do it through a site that gives back to community organizations, etc

And each sale pays MORE than your average car wash / brat fry / cookies / bake sale too!

Talk to your principal or teacher heading the fundraiser, and have them check out their site.
