I am writing a paper on the negative aspects of fundraising. Some ideas I have are: the safety of the kids when they go door-to-door without being supervised and kids being left out of pizza parties, etc., when they are not able to raise a certain amount of money. I need some more ideas but am not able to think of any. Can you please help? Thanks!
Just a few off the top of my head:
1) alienate students / classmates that are unable to raise enough money
2) definite possibility of endangering the students, as you mentioned
3) instills poor moral values in the students (focus on money, winning)
4) amounts large volumes of time to out of class work that will not increase their education
Obviously these points are one sided for the purpose of your topic, but hopefully this will get you off to the right start.
