Ever thought about having a Outdoor Movie event? Charge admission and sell a ton of Movie refreshments! I wrote a quick article about this subject: http://ohiooutdoormoviescreen.blogspot.com/ or you can visit www.BuckeyeOutdoorCinema for additional Outdoor Movie Screen Fundraiser ideas.

You can raise some serious funds all while the entire family can attend! Might want to look into it!

Best Regards,

Well this was really a stimulating blog.
Seeing both young and adult individuals raising funds for their schools are quite inspiring. As we have known for a fact, studying really requires you to spend money, for some they spend large amount-those who can afford, but as with those who cant, it would be a great help for them to raise fund, in which this gives inspiration to those who really want to study and determined enough to work hard just to pursue their study.

Hi everyone! Remember that fundraising is a balancing act. The suggestions are great above and may I just add that product fundraisers are as important than ever. In order for a successful fundraising campaign over time, it is very important to switch it up. The most successful groups host a high-profit catalog fundraiser then throw an event such as an auction or holiday carnival and put some effort into it. It's o.k. to do a few ongoing fundraisers like box tops etc. - but don't overdo it. In the spring perhaps host a frozen food fundraiser. This type of variation seems to really work because it avoids fundraising fatigue while concentrating on the most profitable fundraisers. Best of luck to you all and remember to shake it up and stand out but concentrate on the fundraisers that will make money so you can reduce the overall number of fundraisers you host. Thanks!

GREAT blog! This is great information! I have a great fundraiser idea that my photography company offers. I do a family photo raffle that I have had organizations raise over $10,000 with. Also, a kids art fundraiser that we do. More info can be found at;

Change has arrived in fundraising. I came across a website www.raisewhileyousave.com (RWYS) the other day when looking into Green fundraising oppurtunities, as I am fed up with my kids going door 2 door and selling cookie dough and magazines. I looked into this new fundraising program which is helping parents Save Money while raising money.they are also helping great causes which don't have any budget to run a fundraiser, as they do all the work for you, by building you a webpage attached to thier website. Their products are these really snazzy energy saving product kits, which can save parent $100's of dollars on those bills we all hate to open. I thought I would share this information as we could all do with a little extra cash during this economy Im sure. My friend who is a PTA mom is always complaining about the difficulty of getting new ideas, and the lack of interest they have in the same old boring fundraising oppurtunities. I think this is very clever, as the schools and community fundraisers, don't purchase anything, the kids don't need to do anything, the kits save money and help raise money, and apparently they even send the kits out to the parents home, so PTA moms like my friend no longer need to chase moms around the playground to tell them thier products are in the sports hall for collection. we've all been there. :)

Picateers sounds like a pretty cool program. It's nice that half of the money made from parents buying pictures is going back to the schools. I also like the idea of getting healthy with Walk-A-Thons. A lot of kids need more exercise than they get, so having students come out and raise money while exercising is also great. Another idea that I had was to do an Online Raffle. Since most schools have 4 quarters per school year, why not have a raffle per semester? Parents, students, and anyone in the community can visit the website and buy as many tickets as they choose. The raffle tickets can be on sale for the whole semester or just for a few weeks. The winner will be chosen and receive the prize and all the money raised will go to the school.

The rep does the ordering and bags the items for you. Collecting the money before or after is up to your org.. There are other ways also to raise money fast ( within 2 to 3 weeks) it up to you. also rep.s will also give you 10% of any orders placed with them ( the 1st) from the result of the fundraiser. Fundraising with Avon can be easy and fast it up to the org.
