Our class has to pay for stolen class rings from a show case adding up to $1700. We are needing some profitable fundraisers.
Hi Jammin;
Local small businesses are always looking to raise awareness and attract new customers.
Search out local stores or services that could supply the needs and wants of the students and their families of your school. Approach the owner and offer to promote the business to students at your school. Suggest the merchant offer to make a donation to the school student council each month based on the total value of receipts collected and turned over to the council treasurer. The donation might be a percentage of the total value of all purchases made the previous month. For example 5%. If successful try contacting other non competing merchants in your community to join the campaign.
This would be a win-win for the business the school and the students. Most of all it will be a great booster for your local community as it will help keep local money circulating in your home town.
Good Luck
Fred
