This trip is not through my school. i need to raise $7000.00 and this trip was awarded to me because i am doing so well in school.
Any ideas?
Is this People to People by any chance? It’s about in that price range…
There are a lot of options for fund raising out there, you just have to be creative and understand that there’s a lot of work involved. Look at your talents and play on those. Talk to local business owners (ALL the local business owners, 90% are gonna say no) and see if they’d be willing to sponsor you. Grouping up with other students going on the trip can help. There’s power in numbers. Also talk with your parents or other family members and see if they’d be willing to match whatever you’re able to raise to get the full $7000.
