Sarah Owen, CEO of Community Cooperative Ministries Inc (CCMI) was the August recipient of Tyson Hunger Reliefs Hunger All-Star. Each month, Tyson chooses one nominee to be the Hunger All-Star of the month and donates a truckload of Tyson products to their local food bank. Just in time for the first weekend of classes starting for local schoolchildren, the Tyson delivery truck rolled into Orange River Elementary on Friday, August 28 at 10 a.m. to hand out the companys chicken products to families in need. Orange River Elementary is the first school Owen launched CCMIs backpack program for children who get little to no food each weekend.
