Really great Japanese Junior High School brass band performing to raise money for Earthquake and Tsunami victims in China Town in Kobe. What a great Music teacher! An absolute dude. If you enjoyed the performance as much as I did (these kids are only 13~15 years old!), please make a donation in their honour to Second Harvest Japan; http://www.2hj.org/index.php/get_involved/donate_money Note: I do not know exactly which organization they were collecting for, but I do know that Second Harvest Japan will turn your donations directly into food and support for people who were badly effected and lost family and homes. 100% verified great cause.

An interview and a lil trash talk with the Percussion Manager of the Redan High School’s Blue Thunder Marching band 2011-2012. This was shot during our fundraiser at Kroger Shopping Center to raise money for the band’s trip to the Battle of the Bands in Florida.

So a trip is being offered in over a year and I need to raise $3,000. Because of the economy my parents can’t pay so I was wondering what are some of the best fundraisers that you have ever done to raise money for something expensive like this. Especially ideas that don’t just involve selling cookie dough, all of my relatives are tired of that.

There are quite a few websites that offer tons of great high profit high school fundraising ideas. Here are a couple:

www.buyforcharity.com
www.easy-fundraising-ideas.com

So each year at school the art students (art, drama, media) go on a camp, but we need money to fund raise for the camps, this year we had to pay WAY too much and we only got 2 nights there D: but this year it’s already cheaper, but we need some new and exciting fund raising ideas, we can’t have fatty foods ( I wanted to do a bake sale but no one wants healthy cupcakes >> ) We need some new ideas we already have the lolly jar and the raffle, we were thinking of doing face painting for the primary school across the road, anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

-Car Wash (sell tickets ahead of time)
-Holiday candy grams
-Item bidding (get sponsors to donate items, people bid on it)
-Sell drinks (water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate)
-Make (or preorder) bracelets and sell
