School Fundraising Ideas

Helping you raise money to support your teachers and kids

Archive for the ‘school fundraising ideas’ Category

For my student council, I wanted to have a fundraiser this year to buy extra classroom supplies for my school. Last year, when my teachers all got their supplies to start the year, my pre algebra teacher was given only one box of pencils to give to kids who needed them in class. We are really low on supplies (also due to the fact that they cost so much nowadays. I need a really fun and easy fundraising idea to buy these supplies. Any ideas?

One of the greatest ways for a fund raising organization to make extra money is the Bike-A-Thon Fundraiser. Once you decide that your organization should go for this type of fund raising event, you will have to come up with the proper planning. Keep in mind that your planning and efforts will be in a direct proportion to your success. A pre-planning preparation is to be regarded as a key element when it comes to making your event stand out from other similar events.

If you want your Bike-A-Thon to be an unforgettable experience, you will have to pay attention to all the important details related to this type of fund raising event. Start with getting the necessary city permits – you need them in order for your fundraiser to be hosted by all the chosen locations. Such a permit is not hard to get but you will have to deal with a little more bureaucracy then you are used to. For instance, your organization may be required to present a sort of event insurance – this insurance can be obtained from your local insurance broker.

Hey,

I’m in grade 7 and my school is looking to raise money for our local SPCA for the pets there. We have a very small public school (182 students grades 1-7) and we would like to have a fundraiser that relates to animals (pets) somewhat, and it would be great if we could actually include the SPCA’s animals or the students animals in this, but I’m not sure how that would work!

Any pet related fundraising ideas are awesome!

Thanks!

How about a Pet Wash!? It just popped into my head. Its cheap and quick. Just make sure you have different shampoos for different dogs. Sounds fun.
