Helping you raise money to support your teachers and kids

Archive for August, 2008

We are looking to help kids from going house to house and going to one centralized location to keep them save. We are planning to have plenty of candy, food, games, and rides but we need help raising the money for this event.

Joe Corbi pizza kits always go over well around here… do you have enough kids to sell stuff?

I am interested in exploring the possibility of running a fundraiser at my child's elementary school which would entail selling adult-sized and child-sized aprons with the school name and logo printed on them. Does anyone have any ideas about web sites I could consider for the apron order? Thanks.

try Lakeshore learning website. www.lakeshorelearning.com and another website that might have them is orientaltrading.com

We are planning to have a fundraising for Senior prom for this school year. Some of the clubs got the halloween so we are aiming for the valentines. We usually make candy grams but I'm pretty sure that other clubs and classes will be making them as well as bake sale. Please help with any ideas?

"Wrapped up in you."
Do you gift wrap lockers? I guess it's because I went to an all girls' high school, it was a tradition, but you can offer to sell pre-measured gift wrap with different designs, matching gift bows and curling ribbon… it's an absolutely cheesy but totally adorable way to make it know who your sweetheart is. Oh remember to use MASKING tape if you do this.

"Love blossoms."
Selling a sachet of flower seed mix with a note attached at the top with some curling ribbon? Super cheap and easy to do.

"Sweets for my sweet."
Buy multiple candy in bulk, get those small chinese take out boxes or wrap it up in colored saran wrap. Have people sign up for who they want it to be sent to, and to which homeroom to send it to, and/or sell it during cafeteria time.

Hope these ideas help. :]

We’re a group of freshmen trying to raise as much $ as possible so by senior year, we can throw an awesome homecoming/prom. So far, we’re still coming up with ideas on what to sell at school. I mean, it doesn’t have to be at school, as long as we get cash. We’re looking for donations from restaurants or stores but so far, no luck. Is there anything else we can do?

I work with a company that can help you set up fundraisers for any project you might have. We have scratch and help cards, spinners, and even cookie dough! Most of these will give you advance time before payment is due, and there’s no shipping charges. One of the best to use is a web based promo offer fundraiser that costs you nothing to set up and use, you just need to promote your project with emails and flyers to those who might want to help you and get a great deal on things like Netflix, blockbuster, As Seen On TV items, and the like. Check the link below to find out more, or email me at ds_music_now@yahoo.com and I’ll be happy to help!

Smencils are taking over where candy fundraisers once ruled. Kids like them much better too! Just note how many Youtube videos you’ll find with students and their smencils vs their candy bar! (I smell a challenge coming on…! :o )

Make a video with your smencil and let me know about it.
