School Fundraising Ideas

Helping you raise money to support your teachers and kids

Archive for April, 2009

my daughter is in kindergarden at a public elementary school. Today they came home with fundraising packages for FROZEN MEAT!! LOL What happened to good old fashioned chocolate bars? This struck me as the weirdest school fundraiser. Anyone else has kids come home with strange things to sell?
i think they might be easier to sell if the prices were better, but they are about twice the price of all the grocery stores in our area, for smaller amounts

Maybe they're trying to shift from candy and cookies to items that can be part of a healthy meal. My school does sausage and chicken fundraisers, and they are usually excellent sellers.

I am Sophomore Class President. I need to generate about $2000 in the next couple months. I have about 30-40 people to work with and like $500 in our account. What are some good fundraisers we could do to generate a lot of money?

I don't think we can sell candy because of the new law against that…

This site has a lot of good fundraising ideas that I haven't seen elsewhere, plus they have a lot of good "how to" advice:

The car smash or the cow chip fundraiser were my favorites…
