The students and community of Manila Elementary in Pleasant Grove, Utah raised over $3,000.00 to buy bunk beds for all the older boys and girls at Rising Star Outreach.

I was asked by our PTA president to make a list of ideas of things our school could purchase with our fundraising money this year. I have to get estimates for everything. Of course most of the money we earn goes to programs for the students but we are expecting to earn a considerable amount of money this year and want to think of something the students will think is exciting as a motivator to sell the cookbooks we are using as our fundraiser this year. Any ideas for something the kids would really want to work for??

You know I think it’s great the work that your doing. However I think your asking the wrong people.
Can’t the teachers ask the students to find out what THEY want? If you want to motivate THEM, THEY should be the ones to give you the answers. You could pick an answer like playground equipment and maybe miss the mark completely. It wouldnt even take long.
You might give them reasonable options like:
sports day at school
Movie day
playground equipment
Trips for the highest selling class to…
