The School of American Ballet (SAB) celebrated their Winter Ball, which this year also served as their 75th Anniversary of the school. This glamorous black-tie dinner dance at Lincoln Centers David H. Koch Theater was attended by over 400 patrons, including the Schools board members and alumni. SAB Teacher and former New York City Ballet Principal dancer Jock Soto is one of the hosts of Plum TV’s new arts show, Prism. Jock takes us behind the scenes at this star-studded event, and chats with the Ballet School patrons, including a LWren Scott-clad Sarah Jessica Parker.

Even before the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina, the educational system in New Orleans struggled. As the city has fought to come back to life, one organization has provided critical education support to New Orleans schools. New Orleans Outreach has matched dedicated teachers, administrators, community volunteers and parents willing to do whatever is necessary to improve public education for children in New Orleans.
