School Fundraising Ideas

Helping you raise money to support your teachers and kids

My club is going to get cut from school because of the major budget cuts. It is an amazing group of people and it has already helped me and so many people. The only way we can keep it is if we raise so SERIOUS money. So I was wondering if anybody had done any fundraisers that had worked out really well and that highschool kids could manage with the help of a few adults.
ps I like in California in a fairly wealthy community so we would really like to get the community involved in saving us!

the organizations and clubs im in charge of are doing fundraisers but i am desperatly in need of some nice creative ideas to raise as much money as possible

anything but a car wash, those things are awkward….
and we are already doing bake sales and breakfast sales
to raise money for gaza
(dont ask how we are gettin the money there…we just can lol..)

any ideas please?

bake sale: cakes, cookies, pizza and anything you can make at home

sponsor a movie…like for example, let’s say you are sponsoring money for the research abt autism…get a movie abt autism and play it in your school movie theatre and get pple who want to help your cause to pay tickets

organize a theme party in a cool hangout place where kids usually like to be on a Friday night or Saturday…talk to the owner to cut you some slack with the prices so that you can make money out of this evening (tell him it’s like free publicity or smtg and that he will be helping a cause…)…u can get some free food or drinks from the owner that you can sell to the pple coming

garage sales…get the pple who are with you in the organization to donate whatever they don’t want anymore and that you can sell…do it on school premises by getting a special order from your principal

My sister and a few of her team mates don’t have the money to compete in Disney World in the spring. They are out of ideas for fundraising… they can’t do bake sales in their school because they can’t sell anything with sweets and they can’t have a school dance. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks for all your help :)

My high school dance team just had a dance fundraiser. What they did was hold a dance class for anyone at the school that was interested. So basically after school for like 2 hours they taught people dance stuff. We did warm up, stretching, practiced/taught leeps, turns, across the floor stuff. Then some choerographie to anyone who was interested. It was easy and they just charged 5 dollars. It was pretty fun and a decent fundraiser.

What about a Coffee fundraiser?
Specialty coffee and beverages are an exploding market nationwide and people are going to buy it anyway. Java Joe’s Roasting Company is an upstate New York based coffee roaster, who specializes in fundraising. Organizations will realize a profit of $2.50 or more per bag sold. The products will be customized to promote your organization (free of charge) and there are no set up fees or minimums. This fundraising program is equitable and offers your supporters a first class practical product that is perfect for every day use. Good luck! I hope I was able to help.

p.s. My son’s preschool made $2,496 during a 2 week campaign.

I am the Treasurer of my high school, and I want to start a fund raising project so that I can help raise money for my school. We have a big student population (~4000 students) so I want to try to get the most students to participate. Originally, I was planning on collecting Box Tops 4 Education, but unfortunately I found that the Box Tops 4 Education Program does not support high schools. So please give me any advice or suggestions/ideas regarding about fund raising. I really want to do a great job as the school’s treasurer, so any suggestion or comment is helpful and much appreciated! Thank you!
